PD3 Writing Practice — Skriftlig Fremstilling
Prøve i Dansk 3 (PD3) tests Danish at roughly B2 level, and the written part — skriftlig fremstilling — is where most candidates lose marks. It has two tasks, not the letter-writing genres taught earlier in the course: an informal email to a friend, and a longer essay on a general or societal topic. DanskAI gives you realistic PD3 writing prompts in both genres, instant corrections with explanations, and a study notebook that tracks the mistakes you keep making.
- Practise both real PD3 task types: an informal email to a friend, and a societal-topic essay (task A or B)
- Instant AI feedback on grammar, structure, and register
- Structure guidance for opening, body, and closing
- Targeted revision of your recurring mistakes
- Vocabulary saved automatically — exam phrases at your fingertips

Before DanskAI
Jeg skriver til dig fordi jeg er meget glad for at fortælle om min nye lejlighed.
After DanskAI
Jeg skriver til dig, fordi jeg er meget glad for at fortælle om min nye lejlighed.
Explanation
Comma before "fordi" in subordinate clauses (ledsætninger) — one of the most common corrections DanskAI makes in PD3 writing, whether it's the informal email or the essay task.
What PD3 skriftlig fremstilling actually tests
The written part of PD3 lasts 2½ hours in total and dictionaries are allowed. There are two tasks: • Delprøve 1: an informal email replying to a friend about an everyday topic — you must answer their questions and tell, describe, explain and justify • Delprøve 2: a connected text of at least 200 words on a general or societal topic. You choose task A or B, each built around three points (for example: describe the facts, explain the causes, and discuss pros and cons) Examiners mark on four criteria: kommunikation, indhold, sprog and tekstopbygning.

Frequently asked questions
What level is PD3?
PD3 (Prøve i Dansk 3) is roughly CEFR B2 and is the final exam of Danish Education 3 Module 5.
Which task types can I practise?
The two real PD3 writing tasks: an informal email reply to a friend, and a societal-topic essay of at least 200 words (task A or B). DanskAI supports both with realistic prompts and AI grading.
Is this the same as klage, anbefaling or jobansøgning practice?
No — those formal-letter genres are not part of the PD3 exam. If you were told PD3 tests them, check the official task list; they belong to different material.
Is this useful if I am still on Module 4?
Yes. Practising real writing earlier means PD3 feels like more of the same, not a sudden jump.
